Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Namaste! Nepal

    Welcome to the enchanting land of Nepal! As you step off the plane, our friendly team will be eagerly awaiting your arrival to whisk you away to your comfortable hotel in Kathmandu. Take some time to rest and prepare for the incredible adventures that await you.

  • Day 2 - Kathmandu

    Today, we'll dive straight into the rich cultural wonders of Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal. With an expert local guide leading the way, we'll embark on a captivating sightseeing tour to explore the city's UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First, we'll climb up to Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) situated at an elevation of approximately 1,420 meters. Next, we'll head to Boudhanath Stupa located at an altitude of approximately 1,350 meters, and finally, visit Pashupatinath Temple at an elevation of approximately 1,400 meters. These elevation figures may vary slightly depending on the specific location within the city.

  • Day 3/4 - Take In

    Fuel up with a hearty breakfast, then get ready for the road to Dungeshwor (our take-in point). If you’re up for a wild 18-20-hour bus ride, you’ll pass through almost every terrain Nepal offers. Not in the mood for the long haul? No worries! you can hop on a flight to Nepalgunj and hit the road for a 4-5 hour drive.  If the sun's on our side we we'll even ride a few rapids before setting up camp. Either way, you’re in for an adventure!

  • Day 5 - Mighty Karnali

    We start the day with a hearty breakfast prepared by our crew before gearing up and hitting the river. Today’s paddle is easy-going, with a few small rapids to warm us up. As we drift deeper into the Karnali, civilization fades behind us and the wild, untamed beauty of the river takes over. This is where the adventure truly begins!

  • Day 6 - The Jungle Gateway
    1. Today’s all about the calm before the storm. We, tackle a few grade 3 rapids letting us get the taste of the water before setting up camp early, right on the edge of the iconic Jungle Corridor. We hit the big waves tomorrow, but for now, it’s all about chilling and prepping for what’s next!
  • Day 7 - Rapids Unleashed

    Today is all about unleashing the thrill of Karnali’s wild whitewater! Get ready to conquer exhilarating Grade 4 and 4+ rapids like God’s House, Juicer, and Jailhouse Rock. It’s a day packed with adventure and adrenaline! When the sun dips and the campfire flares up, we gather 'round to swap wild tales from our adrenaline-packed day!

  • Day 8 - Flow-State

    The whitewater madness continues as we pass by some charming little villages. The locals often like to greet you with bright smiles.  We set camp at the beautiful Seti confluence and as the sun sets and the dinner plates clear, we kick back by the campfire to celebrate the day’s adventures. With good food and great company, the night is ours to own!

  • Day 9 - The Karnali Blues

    As we approach the flatlands, the waters mellow out and we glide past beautiful riverside villages. This is our chance to soak in the remoteness and pure beauty of Karnali. It's also the perfect time to try out whitewater kayaks. And if luck is on our side, we might even spot the last living nomads of Nepal!

  • Day 10 - Flatland

    Today, we enter the flatlands, feeling the rise in temperature as the river stretches wider and flatter. We pass by larger villages and more signs of civilization, leaving behind the remoteness of Karnali. Our journey culminates at the iconic Chisapani Bridge, marking the end of this unforgettable adventure!

  • Day 11/12 - The Final Flow

    Today, we transition into the flatlands, feeling the temperature rise as the river widens and flattens. We pass larger villages and more signs of civilization, leaving the remoteness of Karnali behind. Our adventure concludes at the iconic Chisapani Bridge. After a hearty lunch, you have the choice: embark on an 18-hour bus ride back to Kathmandu or take a scenic 3-4 hour ride to Nepalgunj for a flight. If you choose the latter, we can even swing by Bardiya National Park on the way!

  • Day - 12 Relax And Reflect

    Today is all about relaxing and reflecting. Wander through the lively streets of Thamel for shopping or grab a drink at a local bar. In the evening, we’ll come together for a final team dinner to celebrate the amazing journey we’ve had!!

  • Day - 20 Departure

    Transfer to the airport for your departure flight marking the end of your adventure in Nepal.

Things to consider while in Nepal and before coming to Nepal:

  • Roads can be unpredictable and bumpy in Nepal—be patient and trust the journey.
  • Forgetting personal medications is risky—pack enough for the entire trip as pharmacies are non-existent in these remote areas.
  • There’s little to no internet here—disconnect and enjoy the timeless beauty of the wilderness.
  • Drinking untreated water can ruin your adventure. Always use purification methods.
  • Never overpack.
  • Leave footprints not traces.
  • Have healthy mind set to respect local culture.
  • Remote areas mean minimal facilities—embrace the adventure over comfort.
  • Switch off everything and soak in the moments.
  • Carry enough cash because sometimes ATMs and other form of payments could not work.
  • Dont forget your river permits and all the other required documents.
  • Stay calm in unexpected situations; panicking never helps, and solutions are always around the corner.
  • Don’t rush to the finish line; the magic is in enjoying every step of the journey.
  • Stick with the group; wandering off isn’t just unsafe, it’s unnecessary in such vast landscapes.

    Our rafting trips are perfect for all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned adventurers, with expert guides providing all the necessary instruction. However, for kayaking, you should be a confident Grade 4 paddler, as the rapids can be challenging. If you’re unsure about your skills, our team can help assess your readiness!

  • Are there options for solo travelers?

    Currently, we do not offer specific options for solo travelers. Our trips are designed for groups, so it's best to join with friends or family to fully enjoy the adventure!

  • Are there age restrictions?

    People 14 years or older can join the trip. This ensures everyone is physically capable and can follow safety guidelines.

  • What type of accommodation can I expect?

    In Kathmandu and other major cities, you can enjoy luxury, comfortable hotels. While on the river, we’ll be camping in tents with sleeping bags and sleeping mattresses for a cozy and adventurous experience under the stars!

  • Safety measures during the trip?

    We prioritize your safety with IRF-certified guides and top-notch equipment. Our team is trained to handle various situations, ensuring you have a safe and enjoyable adventure. Plus, we always carry a first aid kit to address any needs that may arise!

  • What should I pack for the trip?

    Bring your toiletries, personal meds, and any other personal items you might need. We have dry bags to keep your belongings safe and dry. While we provide all the river gear and camping essentials, you’re always welcome to bring your own. We recommend trying to pack light for easier adventuring!

  • What is the best time of year for these trips?

    The sweet spot for rafting and kayaking on the Karnali is from September to December and March to May. With perfect water levels and awesome weather.



  • How physically demanding are the trips?

    Trips vary in difficulty, but a general level of fitness is recommended! Our guides will ensure everyone is safe and comfortable!


  • What if I have dietary restrictions?
